I do not know if I am the only one who had the impression that this year, Spring was cancelled and Summer arrived in its place. The month of May has always reminded me of Polish High School exams and the upcoming final term. Now, with my formal education behind me, it would seem that the time for follies and experiments, including fashion, have already passed. However, now that I have achieved a certain level of distance from education I think I am now ready to to reach out for these garments and to try them first hand.
In recent days, I decided to coordinate a style that does not come naturally to me – a complete street-style outfit, which for me was more challenging than the styling of smart casual and classic. I’ve always had a problem with ripped and worn jeans and so I have never worn them. Therefore, you may find my motives were unacceptable, resulting in a very skeptical approach to all the variations of this type of product. Recently, I have found it fun in fashion to not just sail the calm waters that are known to me, but also attempt to find something new that breaks down their own barriers.

Today’s outfit consists of several characteristic elements from urban styling: a white t-shirt, that should be in the wardrobe of every man; a denim shirt; beige and gray sneakers and torn jeans. The whole look is light in nature through a combination of gray, white and denim. Jeans are generally used in street-styling and casual looks, so these designs are looser and less binding. The perfect backdrop for this look is a weekend campfire on the Vistula River in Warsaw.

Today, I find that these worn-down jeans are ideal for meetings with friends or to informal drinks in a pub. Certainly many men believe that this type of model is inadequate and does not suit a grown man to be dressed in these type of ‚sloppy’ clothes. I understand this approach, so each of us must judge for ourselves whether one is ready for such a step, because it is brave enough item of clothing that any advice and solicitation may still result in a difficult decision.
Beautiful weather and summer temperatures facilitate such experiments, making us bolder – as fashion is nothing but fun and should bring us joy. I do not hide that I am very curious what you think about this combination and if you happen to wear these jeans. Let me know in the comments below J

Nie wiem czy tylko ja mam wrażenie, że w tym roku wyjątkowo wiosna spłatała nam figla i zamiast niej przyszło lato. Maj zawsze kojarzył mi się z maturami, juwenaliami i zbliżającą się sesją. Etap edukacji mam już za sobą i wydawać by się mogło, że czas szaleństw i eksperymentów, w tym również modowych, już minął. Myślę jednak, że dopiero teraz osiągnąłem pewien poziom dystansu do siebie, który pozwala mi sięgać po te części garderoby, po które nigdy wcześniej nie wyciągnąłbym ręki. W ostatnich dniach postanowiłem zadać sobie trud i skompletować outfit street’owy, który był dla mnie większym wyzwaniem niż zestawy w stylu smart casual czy classic.
